HW 4 — Functions + Loops

For this assignment, I took Tim Szetela’s “leafy twist” from 2021.01.30 and tried to replicate it to the best of my abilities. When looking at Szetela’s picture, it appeared to me that he used rotations, strokes with stroke weight, and used sin and cosine to make a wave in his picture. For me, I started by creating rows and columns to make multiple “leaves’’. I then stated variables to create the waves so then they could be incorporated into the ellipse shape. When making the rotation, I did make the green a little lower and make both colors rotate in different directions. This would allow the light yellow enough space to rotate and give that colliding effect. While taking a better look at Szetela’s Picture, I saw he used a stroke and stroke weight to outline the leaves so they pop out more.

From the get-go, I didn’t like Szetela’s colors, so I changed them for the next two examples
